Loads of Charlotte Mason Videos

Where has the time gone? I’ve been having so much fun over at my YouTube channel that I’ve spaced writing on my blog altogether–so sorry!

Anyways, in case you are a great fan of Charlotte Mason, or just barely ready to dip your toes in, these videos are sure to give you plenty of food for thought. (I’ve already shared a few of the videos, just go here to find the posts).

Here are the new vlog entries I’ve added since:

Charlotte Mason and Habit.

Gentle Academics for Young Children.

Nature Study

Living Books

Narration, Copywork, and Dictation

I hope you find these very helpful (and a whole lot of fun–I think you can sense how much fun I am having making them 🙂 ).

Some have mentioned they miss my blog posts, and I get that 🙁 , it is just so marvelous to be able to make a video, spend about an hour editing and making graphics, and then take off (aka get off the computer) to be creative in the other parts of my life.

Will I ever return to regular blogging? Maaayyybe. Most certainly I should be over here publishing more free tools for you to use in your homeschooling (vlogging gives me more time to get all crazy with neato stuff like that).

Until then, PLEASE BE SURE AND SUBSCRIBE TO MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL, MOM DELIGHTS.

That way you won’t miss anything new!

  1. Oh my gosh, I’ve wondered what happened to you! I’ve checked your blog for these videos every single day waiting-literally-lol. I didn’t realize you had a YouTube-stupid me! Yay! Happy you’re ok!

  2. I didn’t know you had a channel either, and I’d wondered what happened to the blog posts☺
Could I make a suggestion /request? Could you repost some old, old posts every once in awhile? I read your blog years ago, and loved all the ideas on various topics. It would save you from creating new content so often. ..just add a foreword and put in your posting lineup. Some days it seemed God brought the right idea or encouragement at the right time. But most moms simply don’t sit down and scroll thru archives anymore. We just read what is recently posted. I understand you are super busy, though. I always enjoy your posts. Keep up the great encouragement! !

    • Thank you, Lisa–that’s a terrific idea! I think my husband has been trying to get me to do this for a long time 🙂 He’s so smart.

    • That’s a great idea Lisa! It does seem that you need a post at a certain time for sure. Plus, seasons change for so many of us with multiple kids & we need different info at different times. Good idea 🙂

P.S. Sherry-I’m loving the YouTube channel! As I get time I’m going to whittle through them all for sure

  3. Hi Sherry, thanks for your blog and you tube videos! Sometimes with all the negativity we large mom homeschoolers get, it feels really lonely. Your blog and you tube videos are a breath of fresh air! Encouraging us to keep on growing up in the Lord by loving our husbands and children.
I’m a Homeschooling mom of 11 and I’ve been so encouraged and blessed.
    Thanks

    • You’re so welcome, Julie! I’m pleased as punch to be an encouragement to moms like you. I know what it’s like to be the brunt of so much negativity. Remember Psalm 91.

  4. Hi! I just found your YouTube channel today. We are just starting out in our Charlotte Mason journey, and your channel is so helpful. I also hopped over here and found your Grammer downloads. Oh thank you! I don’t have the money to spend on a Grammer curriculum for all three of my kiddos, so this helped me out so much. Love all that you share. – Raylynn
