Free Undated Homeschool Planner

Happy summer to all my homeschooling mom friends! I hope you enjoy the free undated homeschool planner pages I am offering (link at the bottom of this post)!

I’ve been busy (as I’m certain all of you have been, too). Among the blessings of this summer so far has been the welcoming of a new grandbaby (yay) and a whole house declutter. Also, there was a tiny hacking incident, but that seems to be taken care of (thanks be to God!).

Meanwhile…I’ve been working on two projects for you all precious mamas:

  1. Homeschool Mom Planner Pages (free downloads in this post)
  2. Splendid Spelling (almost finished)

Since I’ve been time-crunched of late, I wasn’t able to get the pages to the printer, but I am offering them undated here for your convenience.

One thing I was able to do was to go crazy on the art part. Admittedly, I was inspired by the art in a big-sized Happy Planner I was sent for a review.

I’ve never owned a Happy Planner, and I was glad to receive it (especially since planners are one of my weaknesses). However, I don’t think I would ever be willing to spend the kind of money it cost ($42 at the time it was sent).

It had a sturdy cover, the paper was quality. The layout is delicately lined and uncluttered. However, the pages were pretty “vanilla.” There weren’t any interesting layouts, hardly even a page for notes. I was rather disappointed, especially with all the hype and prestige of owning one.

So, I thought it would be nice to mimic some of the best features of this Happy Planner as an homage to the designer, but with a Christian twist. I used Canva to create some cover and divider art, including some scripture references (I get tired of the planner world being dominated by the cult of self). A few of the art pages are totally original as well.

I also made sure to include the spreads we as the Mom Delights community decided were important, such as the chore and clothing charts, etc. I also made sure there was a dashboard spread, complete with the type of homeschool activity recorder found in my Record Book series.

Here are some some samples of the art and pages included:

Here is a video in which I explain further:

  1. Sherry, I’m biting at the bit to see your spelling program! My 11yo son just doesn’t seem to grasp (or care, for that matter) about spelling and it’s been one of those burdens on my heart. Thank goodness for spell check! He has an incredible engineering mind and can read well but his spelling is just lacking. When do you expect to have the spelling up and ready and will it be free pdfs or books on amazon like your lesson books? I’ve been using your lesson books for a few years now and love them!

    • This is my next project–just submitted a slightly revamped planner to Amazon and Lulu, so the spelling should be coming up soon–thanks for your continued interest! The spelling is going to be short and sweet and simply give some structure and point out some patterns in a gentle, quick way.

  2. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I stumbled on your website last school year when I changed up our lessons here. Your blog has blessed me so much. You are truly a gift to us all. I refer back to your blog almost daily. I also share it all the time. I am so thankful for you. May the Lord continue to use you and your gifts. Much love.
